[HIATUS] Looks can be decieving...

((Status Update))

((In case it is not apparent, this blog is under hiatus for the time being. My inspiration and drive for RP has left me for the moment, whether or not it will return remains to be seen. College is really taking it out of me right now. If you want to keep tabs me, you can follow my personal blog located here.

I have had a good time, but I am so detached from everything going on right now that even if I was to re-join right this minute I would be so lost. I do hope to return one day though. Hopefully. This blog will not be deleted and if I do decide to shake it up/re purpose this blog…. I will give some warning.

Thank you for the memories. Hopefully I will return to make some more.

All the best,

Katie (Dia mun) ))

((Let it be known that while I can reblog things just fine, Chrome is not letting me create new posts. Hopefully this is fixed soon. Thank you for your patience.))

You chuckle at her response, but what she adds makes you curious. “No, you didn’t. Do tell, please.”

“Ah, well a friend of mine, Miss Kamora, is going to be hosting a Valentine’s day get together. When I asked her how I could help she said that I could be a supervisor for the event.” you remark, looking over the herbs located at the stand and comparing them to what you have at home.

allthebrokenclocks:

“Ah, that sounds rather dreadful.” You give her a playful grin and follow her, looking over the large pile. The owner of the stand smiles, to which you return, seeing as he knows you pretty well.

Once your friend is done, you move on to another stand, a newer one.

“Oh shosh, I know I don’t really have anything to complain about. At least everyone I care about as far as I know is happy and healthy.” You tease lightly back. Looking at the stand that she just lead you to and thinking about what you need to get. “Did I mention that I am going to be supervising an event that another friend of mine is holding on Valentine’s day?”

The cute little market isn’t far, a farmer’s market, buzzing with life. You snag a basket and make your way along the aisles, chatting as you examine and pick out vegetables. “How has your work been treating you, dear?” You ask, dropping a few acceptable cucumbers in your basket.

“Work has been treating me fine. Although nothing has really called me out of the house for me to actually take action, and therefore I have really only had Molly for company these last few weeks. Everything is pretty much keeping to the status quo which is a good thing and also a bad thing at the same time.” You muse out loud, picking out some carrots and lettuce before heading over to where the potatoes are kept. “It gets somewhat boring.”

You stand once you have the check and pay before your friend can say anything, smoothing your skirt. “I’d love for you to join me, although, I’m hardly buying anything exciting. Damyen is horrible about keeping food for himself in the apartment.” You stand by the door, tilting your head to the side as you wait.

You stand up as well and just as you are about to pull out your money, you notice  your friend has already paid. Shooting her a playful glare, you make a mental note to make sure you are the one who pays the bill next time. “I’ll join you anyways. It has been a while since I have been out of the house and I need to pick up some things as well.”

You make sure you have left nothing behind and follow your friend to the door. “Lead the way my friend.”

“We’ll…” You think for a moment. “Just the store, really.” You chuckle. “And grading, oh goodness, so much grading. I have fifty essays to grade, all varying from five to eight pages long.” You grin. “It’s all my fault, though.”

You wince at the mention of grading, paperwork was never your strong suit. “I’m sorry you have so much to grade, but hopefully if you break it into smaller chunks then it won’t seem so daunting.”

You give yourself a small stretch in your seat. “Would you like me to accompany you to the store so that we may continue on our conversation or would you like to go by yourself?”

allthebrokenclocks:

“That sounds like a perfect idea.” Your eyes flicker to look at the window at a man walking his dog. “I suppose, but I’m excited. It was… Certainly a surprise.”

Another chuckle. Keep it lighthearted, yes. “Oh, yes! I’m glad you like it, dear. And thank you, as well. I’ll surely need a spa trip later.”

“I’m glad that those will be useful to you. I made sure that they will never expire so feel free to use them at your leisure.” You feel the lull in conversation and clear your throat. You still want to spend time with your friend but you are running out of things to talk about. You mess around with the remaining crumbs on your plate for a bit and notice her empty plate as well.

“I believe we are both finished with our tea, do you have anything else you would like to get done?”

allthebrokenclocks:

“Why not both?” You ask with a smile, finishing off your cake. “No, not yet. We only just heard the heartbeat.” You grin now, chuckling. “It’s exhilarating. I’m so very happy.”

“Perhaps I will. I will go start looking up classes probably when I get home.” You muse, taking another sip of your tea. “It is a bit daunting though, uprooting yourself from familiar routines to try something new. Or knowing that the old routines won’t really be the same. Either way, I am happy for you.”

You return her grin with a smile of your own. Taking a bite of cake, a thought occurs to you. “I’m not sure if I have already done this, but thank your for the Christmas present you sent me. I enjoy it a lot.”

allthebrokenclocks:

“Ah, quite eventful, hmm?” You give her a teasing smile and eat a spoonful of cake. “Oh, yes. I got married, pregnant, teaching. Quite a lot and yet not much at all.”

You quiet down to sip at your tea. “Anything on your end planned that sounds promising?”

“Well, let me just say congratulations. Do you know the gender of the baby yet?” You pause and take a bite of your cake that was brought to you. “How do you like being married and now starting a family?”

You take a sip of your tea. “As for myself, I have been tossing around the idea of either going and taking a couple of classes at a college, picking up and trying something new, or going out into the dating scene. I just have had so much time on my hands and I’m tired of feeling like I’m accomplishing nothing even if that is not exactly true.”
